Summer has officially arrived with today’s high in the 90’s here in upstate New York. We have been busy (like the rest of the world) visiting family and seeing the sights this summer.
Rayleigh has been a good sport as usual, enduring 16 hours in the car for the July Fourth weekend, and a mirade of other trips and treks.
We are all getting geared up for another fun filled weekend at a bluegrass festival with good friends and what is sure to be a good time. www.greyfoxbluegrass.com
In other Rayleigh news, we haven’t been back to the doctor yet but she is starting to stretch out. Mid June showed the emergence of some more teeth, bringing the total mouthful to 8 chompers. She is an eating machine- with very few “dislikes” in our cupboards. Currently the big hit is greek yogurt- with just about anything added- broccoli yogurt anyone? On some recent family outings she has been introduced to the water – she LOVES it! And as anyone who knows me can attest, this is a good thing for her and I both. We joined the Fodness clan at Schroon lake where she got her first boat rides and lake swims in for the season. And over the Fourth she spent many hours splashing and napping in the kayaks as we paddled on the Juniata River.
Nothing else is terribly exciting here in New York and I’d love to post photos but the camera is far far away (in another room) so perhaps later this week you will get another dose of Rayleigh and her antics.
Night All-
Kelsey
