The wedding photos are completely up now. They aren’t all of the photos we have from the wedding, but they are a good representative sample. You can download the full size of any photo by clicking on the Download link below the photo and burn it to a CD and take it to a CVS or whatever and get it printed. I have now integrated the photo view into the website so it doesn’t load in a separate window anymore, which is pretty cool. Kels and I have to wake up in a few hours to go rafting down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, so I need to pack it in for the night. We will be posting new photos from other events, including the honeymoon, soon. The photo gallery software also supports video, so we will be able to post new videos as well.

Photo Albums!
A good friend of mine, and fellow IT nerd, Nate Fisk, who is in my grad department, introduced me to a solution to my photo album woes. It’s called Gallery2, and is a photo gallery management application that runs in PHP/mySQL on your own webserver, and supports uploading fullsize images. The only restriction (unlike Flickr, Picasa, etc) is on the amount of storage space available on my webserver (I have plenty). And thus, the photos are being posted! It takes a little while to get them all up, so I will be posting them as quickly as possible, but we are leaving for our honeymoon in 12 hours so we may not get them all posted by then. Look for lots of photos to be posted real soon though! Sorry about the wait!
Sumimasen
Things on our end have been rather insane, and so this website has fallen roughly to the bottom of the priority list. My semester is essentially over, so I am now going to be spending some time working on the site, and yes, on the pictures. I have basically been told that if I don’t have the pictures up by our anniversary, Kels will find some other IT guy to marry. 😉
I’ve got some other plans for the site also, but I don’t want to reveal too much lest I be held to promises I can’t keep.
I can blog?
Communication is key to many things in life, including marriages. Unfortunately, we did not communicate very well and I didn’t know that I could still use this blog function. Sorry for no updates. Kevin and I are both doing well in our respective states. This weekend is the last weekend that I will be flying up to NY this fall. The countdown has always been on our minds- but now we can see the end in sight.
We are both excited for Thanksgiving with family and friends in two weeks. I am getting anxious for the end of school and my job. I’ve been working and attending classes full time since last fall and I’m ready for a break in both.
Anyone who wants to visit or wants us to visit drop a note here or to one of us individually and we will try to work something out.
Well I need to get things ready to catch my flight in a few hours so I’ll stop here for now- We will get photos posted once the semester ends for both of us. Thanks for hanging with us.
Photo Progress
I had to make some updates to the website before I am able to create the new photos section. Those updates are now complete, and I will be able to create the new and improved photos section this week. Expect some awesome wedding photos very soon! And Kelsey surfing!!
