Per Kelsey’s wishes, I changed the look of the navigation at the top. It flows a little better, I think.
We got in yesterday at about 2 Arizona time (in the summer it is the same as Pacific time, so that equates to 5PM EST, since most of the state doesn’t follow DST). We took showers (which was wonderful since it had been 48 hours since our last shower) and passed out until 4:30. We went to the rehearsal at 5, caught up with some old friends, and had a very nice rehearsal dinner at 6:30. It was held in the reception hall behind the church, which is where the cake reception will be held after the wedding today. The rehearsal dinner was nice, and the food was all very good.
After the rehearsal dinner, we came back to the hotel and changed into pants — the daytime and the nighttime in Arizona are 30-40 degrees different due to the lack of humidity. The air just doesn’t hold the heat. It was a very comfortable 65 degrees, and a group of us (Kelsey and I, Andrew, Sean, Travis, Michelle, and Robin) went out to a bar for some drinks and to catch up. We all had a great time, and rolled back into the hotel at about midnight.
We got caught up on our sleep a little — we slept for about 10 hours. We had a continental breakfast provided free by the hotel, then went for a dip on the pool. However, the “pool” was actually a spa, so it was heated … in an 85 degree day, a spa heated to 90-95 degrees isn’t exactly comfortable. We changed locations to the hotel room, and Kelsey is getting some more sleep while I’m blogging and working on the website.
All for now!
