A shot of our engagement rings. Since we strive to be equal in all things, we exchanged engagement rings instead of one of us proposing to the other. Kelsey’s was custom made by Ryan’s jewelers in Danville, PA. It is a white gold band with a faceted onyx at the center, flanked by two diamond cut amethysts (Kelsey’s birthstone), and two small diamonds. Kevin’s is also custom made, and is a titanium band with nitol roping with an emerald set in white gold set in the titanium. Emerald is too soft of a stone to be able to be set into titanium by itself, so it had to be set into white gold, which was set into the titanium.
