The first marble quarry in the US was located on route 30 in Vermont, and we stopped on our way back from Brattleboro to take a few pictures.

We met up with Wes, Autumn, and their daughter Ailey (now four months old!) in Danville on our way back to New York.

We were still happy to be out early, even if we couldn’t get a picture of the sunrise.

After waiting for the fog to clear for about 30 minutes after the sun had risen, we decided to head back to the house. Kevin is wearing a blanket because it was a bit chilly that morning.
